Will somebody, anybody, just hit a damn home run?

The last Angels home run was hit by Mike Napoli. Since then Napoli has been injured, gone on the DL and come back from the DL and yet no Angel has hit a home run since.

A trip on the DL is at least 15 days so the Angels are in a world of hurt - 20 days to be exact.

The streak covers 13 games (the All-Star Break was in the middle) and spans 123 innings. In 110 innings pitched by Ervin Santana this year, he allowed 23 home runs. If only the Halos were facing Ervin Santana.

On July 1st the Angels had a 4.5 game lead over Seattle. That lead is now one game thanks to a 5-8 mark since then.

Angels, just one home run, that's all I'm asking for. And then after that one, I'll ask for two.

Here's a list of every major league team and how long it has been since they have hit a home run.
