The Angels have waited long enough for Ervin Santana to turn things around.After allowing 7 earned runs on 14 hits in 6 innings yesterday, Santana was sent to AAA Salt Lake City. Mike Napoli was activated from the DL to replace Santana.
I would anticipate the Angels replacing Santana with Joe Saunders in the starting rotation. Saunders is currently at Salt Lake City. To make room for Saunders, back up catcher Jeff Mathis would be the most likely candidate to be sent down.
