Stretch

With the Seattle Mariners not playing as hot as they were (it seems like just last week they came within one game of the Angels) it is time to put back some distance on our rivals from the north.

Now just 4 games back and heading into a series with Oakland, wining is becoming more important and more difficult. Let's all assume there will not be a big trade this year as there haven't been any in the past. Just kidding.

We are playing one of the toughest stretches of any team that is in the playoff hunt. This weekend we will be squaring off against the Central Leading Detroit Tigers. And then we follow against the Mariners. These two series could show the front office if we truly need a trade or if we can really contend for the postseason.

The rest of the year we will face off against the teams from the East which includes the red hot hated Yankees and Boston. Unless the Blue Jays dump some of their players, they have the talent to be tearing out a few fans' hearts come the stretch.

One thing that is good this year is that the normally tuff A’s and Rangers will be the last two opponents for the year and could help with winning the division. It’s a tough road ahead so let’s wear our red and give our team all the support we can give.
