Notes & Stats from former Angels...

• Bobby Jenks has tied a major league record by retiring 41 consecutive batters.  That's 13.2 innings of no base runners.  He hasn't pitched in a week, since he only pitches in "save situations" and the White Sox have lost seven straight.
• Ramon Ortiz was traded to Colorado and made his Rockies debut against the Dodgers allowing 2 hits and 0 earned runs in 1.1 innings pitched.
• Shea Hillenbrand went 4-for-6 in last night's 7-4 Dodgers loss.  He has hit safely in 4 of his 6 games with the Dodgers.
• Jeff DaVanon, who was released last month by the Diamondbacks, is now with the A's.  After hitting .321 (9-for-28) at AAA Sacramento, the A's called him up where he has gone 2-for-5 in two games.
• Damion Easley is on the 15-day DL. He injured his ankle yesterday advancing to second on a wild pitch.
• Adam Kennedy is out for at least six weeks after arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
• David Eckstein had 5 consecutive multi-hit games from August 10-16.  He was 11-for-23 during that stretch.
• Derrick Turnbow had not allowed a hit all month (6 ip) until Thursday against St. Louis.  He gave up 4 earned runs on 3 walks and one hit in 1/3 inning.
• Jose Molina had his first career 4-hit game against Cleveland on August 11th.
• Jarrod Washburn has lost his last three starts and hasn't won a game since July 4th.
• Jeff Weaver has won 3 starts in a row including a 5-hit shutout last Sunday at Chicago.
• Jose Guillen had 5 rbi in today's 11-5 win over the White Sox.
• In 7.1 innings this month, Troy Percival has allowed only one run on two hits and one walk while striking out eight.
• Troy Glaus has gone 21 games without a home run.
