American League Gold Glove Awards were announced today and Angels' shortstop Orlando Cabrera won his first award in the American League.Cabrera led all qualified American League shortstops with a .983 fielding percentage and also had a league low 11 errors.
Cabrera has won the award once before while with the Montreal Expos in 2001.
